# SOFREP vs Funker530

The clearest difference is rating: Funker530 at 4.9 against SOFREP's 4.4. Funker530 also leads on ratings volume (4.9K vs 15) and review sentiment (64% vs 52%). SOFREP's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 19 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SOFREP sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Funker530 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Funker530 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funker530 has 4.9K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. SOFREP ships an update every 3 weeks, Funker530 every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
