# Forex Watch vs FreeWeb

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FreeWeb at 86% against Forex Watch's 45%. FreeWeb also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Forex Watch's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forex Watch sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and FreeWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreeWeb holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 567 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Forex Watch's written reviews are positive against 86% of FreeWeb's.

Forex Watch ships an update every 2 days, FreeWeb every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
