# G vs Anker Power

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Anker Power at 70% against G's 41%. Anker Power also leads on chart position (#181 vs unranked). G's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (13K vs 1.5K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

G holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: G has 13K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of G's written reviews are positive against 70% of Anker Power's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

G ships an update every 3 weeks, Anker Power every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
