# Miro vs Patacon App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Patacon App at free against Miro's freemium. Patacon App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Miro's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Patacon App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miro has 5.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Miro ships an update fortnightly, Patacon App every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
