# Snapsie vs FormaTrack

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Snapsie at none against FormaTrack's 6. Snapsie also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). FormaTrack's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FormaTrack sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Snapsie asks for nothing beyond the download.

FormaTrack holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 210 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Snapsie's written reviews are positive against 39% of FormaTrack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snapsie ships an update every 6 months, FormaTrack every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
