# MyNote vs Comet Notes

The clearest difference is ads: Comet Notes at none against MyNote's shown. Comet Notes also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). MyNote's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Comet Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyNote has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
