# bObsweep vs Whisker

The clearest difference is rating: Whisker at 4.8 against bObsweep's 3.7. Whisker also leads on ratings volume (147K vs 449) and device support (3 vs 1). bObsweep's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whisker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisker has 147K ratings behind it against 449, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of bObsweep's written reviews are positive against 52% of Whisker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bObsweep ships an update monthly, Whisker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
