# FaceApp vs Animator Face Dance

The clearest difference is ads: FaceApp at none against Animator Face Dance's shown. FaceApp also leads on ratings volume (1.8M vs 475) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Animator Face Dance's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Both are free to download. FaceApp sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and Animator Face Dance sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
