# FaceApp vs Face Age Morph

The clearest difference is update cadence: FaceApp at every 2 weeks against Face Age Morph's every 12 months. FaceApp also leads on ratings volume (1.8M vs 22) and chart position (#9 vs unranked). Face Age Morph's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceApp sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and Face Age Morph sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FaceApp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceApp has 1.8M ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FaceApp ships an update every 2 weeks, Face Age Morph every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
