# YEGO Mobility vs Vélam

YEGO Mobility and Vélam both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of YEGO Mobility's written reviews are positive against 12% of Vélam's. YEGO Mobility also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (617 vs 2). Vélam's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vélam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YEGO Mobility has 617 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of YEGO Mobility's written reviews are positive against 12% of Vélam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YEGO Mobility ships an update weekly, Vélam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
