# Flip Clock vs Air Clock

The clearest difference is ads: Air Clock at none against Flip Clock's shown. Air Clock also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Flip Clock's advantage is ratings volume (71K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Air Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.39 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Air Clock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 71K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flip Clock ships an update monthly, Air Clock fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
