# Yami Yami vs CHANG

The clearest difference is rating: Yami Yami at 4.7 against CHANG's 1.0. Yami Yami also leads on ratings volume (113 vs 2). CHANG's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 37%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yami Yami holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yami Yami has 113 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Yami Yami's written reviews are positive against 52% of CHANG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yami Yami ships an update monthly, CHANG fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
