# 大藏经 vs 大乘佛经

The clearest difference is rating: 大藏经 at 4.9 against 大乘佛经's 3.5. 大藏经 also leads on ratings volume (204 vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). 大乘佛经's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 大藏经 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 大乘佛经 asks for nothing beyond the download.

大藏经 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 大藏经 has 204 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of 大藏经's written reviews are positive against 100% of 大乘佛经's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

大藏经 ships an update every 5 months, 大乘佛经 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
