# Y Disk Pro vs SSK Storage

The clearest difference is update cadence: SSK Storage at fortnightly against Y Disk Pro's every 2 months. Y Disk Pro's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SSK Storage holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Y Disk Pro has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Y Disk Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of SSK Storage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Y Disk Pro ships an update every 2 months, SSK Storage fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
