# VPN Plus Proxy vs Trust VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trust VPN at 89% against VPN Plus Proxy's 30%. Trust VPN also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). VPN Plus Proxy's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Plus Proxy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Trust VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trust VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trust VPN has 233 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of VPN Plus Proxy's written reviews are positive against 89% of Trust VPN's.

VPN Plus Proxy ships an update every 2 months, Trust VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
