# HOTWORX vs SEEN

HOTWORX and SEEN both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SEEN's written reviews are positive against 8% of HOTWORX's. HOTWORX's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (31K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SEEN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. HOTWORX asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for HOTWORX against 4.7 for SEEN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HOTWORX has 31K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 8% of HOTWORX's written reviews are positive against 100% of SEEN's.

HOTWORX ships an update fortnightly, SEEN weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
