# We vs ROVE Dash Cam

The clearest difference is rating: ROVE Dash Cam at 4.4 against We's 3.7. ROVE Dash Cam also leads on ratings volume (8.9K vs 3) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). We's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 26%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ROVE Dash Cam holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ROVE Dash Cam has 8.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of We's written reviews are positive against 26% of ROVE Dash Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

We ships an update every 6 weeks, ROVE Dash Cam every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
