# Dice Pro+ vs Simple Dice

The clearest difference is ads: Simple Dice at none against Dice Pro+'s shown. Simple Dice also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 55 months) and ratings volume (92 vs 4). Dice Pro+'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dice Pro+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Simple Dice sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dice Pro+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Dice has 92 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Dice Pro+'s written reviews are positive against 75% of Simple Dice's.

Dice Pro+ ships an update every 55 months, Simple Dice every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
