# HomeEye vs MW365

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MW365 at none against HomeEye's 10. MW365 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). HomeEye's advantage is rating (2.1 vs 1.9) and ratings volume (45 vs 14). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HomeEye sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. MW365 asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeEye holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of HomeEye's written reviews are positive against 20% of MW365's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
