# Blueground vs Velloy

The clearest difference is rating: Blueground at 4.6 against Velloy's 2.3. Blueground also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Velloy's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 29%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Velloy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $30.00 per month. Blueground asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blueground holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blueground has 4.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Blueground's written reviews are positive against 67% of Velloy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blueground ships an update weekly, Velloy monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
