# Blueground vs HousingAnywhere

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Blueground at 29% against HousingAnywhere's 0%. Blueground also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). HousingAnywhere's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HousingAnywhere holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blueground has 4.1K ratings behind it against 256, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Blueground's written reviews are positive against 0% of HousingAnywhere's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blueground ships an update weekly, HousingAnywhere monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
