# MWeb vs # Type

The clearest difference is rating: MWeb at 4.5 against # Type's 4.1. MWeb also leads on ratings volume (153 vs 11) and review sentiment (67% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and # Type sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
