# MWeb vs Markdown Notes

The clearest difference is rating: MWeb at 4.5 against Markdown Notes's 1.0. MWeb also leads on ratings volume (153 vs 1). Markdown Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Markdown Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
