# MWeb vs MarkLift

The clearest difference is ads: MWeb at none against MarkLift's shown. MWeb also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and MarkLift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MWeb ships an update every 3 weeks, MarkLift every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
