# MWeb vs azEditor

The clearest difference is update cadence: azEditor at every 2 weeks against MWeb's every 3 weeks. MWeb's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and azEditor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MWeb ships an update every 3 weeks, azEditor every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
