# MWeb vs Hibi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hibi at every 3 days against MWeb's every 3 weeks. MWeb's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MWeb sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Hibi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MWeb ships an update every 3 weeks, Hibi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
