# Vision vs MagicInsight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vision at 83% against MagicInsight's 15%. Vision also leads on ads (none vs shown). MagicInsight's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vision sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and MagicInsight sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MagicInsight holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicInsight has 20K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Vision's written reviews are positive against 15% of MagicInsight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vision ships an update every 2 months, MagicInsight every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
