# Vision vs Rockstar Magic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rockstar Magic at none against Vision's 1. Vision's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 29 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vision sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Rockstar Magic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vision ships an update every 2 months, Rockstar Magic every 29 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
