# Ulearn vs Latch

The clearest difference is rating: Ulearn at 4.6 against Latch's 3.0. Ulearn also leads on ratings volume (237 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Latch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ulearn sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Latch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ulearn holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ulearn has 237 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ulearn ships an update every 4 days, Latch fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
