# Alice's Patchwork 2 Free vs Hidden Tales

The clearest difference is ads: Alice's Patchwork 2 Free at none against Hidden Tales's shown. Alice's Patchwork 2 Free also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Hidden Tales's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (20K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alice's Patchwork 2 Free sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hidden Tales sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hidden Tales holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden Tales has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
