# Blue Ink Tech vs AkalELD Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Blue Ink Tech at 3.2 against AkalELD Pro's 1.9. Blue Ink Tech also leads on ratings volume (118 vs 8). AkalELD Pro's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 37%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Blue Ink Tech holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blue Ink Tech has 118 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Blue Ink Tech's written reviews are positive against 50% of AkalELD Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blue Ink Tech ships an update every 4 weeks, AkalELD Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
