# Here TV vs Popstar!

Here TV and Popstar! both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Popstar!'s written reviews are positive against 14% of Here TV's. Popstar! also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Here TV's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 44). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Here TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Popstar! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Popstar! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Here TV has 1.3K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 14% of Here TV's written reviews are positive against 80% of Popstar!'s.

Here TV ships an update every 2 months, Popstar! every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
