# ChinesePod vs Intervalia

The clearest difference is update cadence: Intervalia at every 3 days against ChinesePod's every 2 months. ChinesePod's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChinesePod sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Intervalia sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChinesePod ships an update every 2 months, Intervalia every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
