# Learn Spanish for Beginner vs Gramático

The clearest difference is ads: Gramático at none against Learn Spanish for Beginner's shown. Gramático also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Learn Spanish for Beginner's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Spanish for Beginner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gramático sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gramático holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 465 and 341 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Learn Spanish for Beginner's written reviews are positive against 55% of Gramático's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn Spanish for Beginner ships an update every 2 months, Gramático weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
