# B vs Charlie's Run

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Charlie's Run at 100% against B's 50%. Charlie's Run also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). B's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. B sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Charlie's Run sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Charlie's Run holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: B has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of B's written reviews are positive against 100% of Charlie's Run's.

B ships an update every 5 days, Charlie's Run every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
