# Pocket Bandit vs Jupiter Attack

The clearest difference is rating: Jupiter Attack at 4.5 against Pocket Bandit's 3.6. Jupiter Attack also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (391 vs 69). Pocket Bandit's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 40%) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On ads, in-app purchases, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Pocket Bandit costs $0.99 and Jupiter Attack $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jupiter Attack holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jupiter Attack has 391 ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Pocket Bandit's written reviews are positive against 40% of Jupiter Attack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pocket Bandit ships an update every 22 months, Jupiter Attack every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
