# Text Vault vs IronCircles

The clearest difference is ads: IronCircles at none against Text Vault's shown. IronCircles also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). Text Vault's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text Vault sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and IronCircles sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IronCircles holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text Vault has 23K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Text Vault ships an update every 3 weeks, IronCircles every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
