# Text Vault vs SoulAlign

The clearest difference is ads: SoulAlign at none against Text Vault's shown. SoulAlign also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Text Vault's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 557). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text Vault sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SoulAlign sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoulAlign holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text Vault has 23K ratings behind it against 557, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Text Vault's written reviews are positive against 73% of SoulAlign's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Text Vault ships an update every 3 weeks, SoulAlign every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
