# MyScouting vs MyGabb

The clearest difference is rating: MyGabb at 4.5 against MyScouting's 2.3. MyGabb also leads on ratings volume (8.2K vs 118). MyScouting's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyGabb holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGabb has 8.2K ratings behind it against 118, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of MyScouting's written reviews are positive against 11% of MyGabb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyScouting ships an update weekly, MyGabb fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
