# Toolr vs Time Tracker & Hours Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Time Tracker & Hours Tracker at 64% against Toolr's 46%. Time Tracker & Hours Tracker also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Toolr's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toolr sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Time Tracker & Hours Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Toolr holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 358 and 246 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Toolr's written reviews are positive against 64% of Time Tracker & Hours Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Toolr ships an update every 2 weeks, Time Tracker & Hours Tracker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
