# The OverKill vs Big Hunter 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Big Hunter 3D at 2.0 against The OverKill's 1.4. The OverKill's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Big Hunter 3D holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The OverKill has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of The OverKill's written reviews are positive against 0% of Big Hunter 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The OverKill ships an update fortnightly, Big Hunter 3D every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
