# AWC Faces vs WatchTheTime

The clearest difference is rating: AWC Faces at 4.6 against WatchTheTime's 3.6. AWC Faces also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 39). WatchTheTime's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWC Faces sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. WatchTheTime asks for nothing beyond the download.

AWC Faces holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AWC Faces has 1.2K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AWC Faces's written reviews are positive against 57% of WatchTheTime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AWC Faces ships an update every 2 months, WatchTheTime every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
