# AWC Faces vs PDF

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PDF at 89% against AWC Faces's 50%. PDF also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). AWC Faces's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 115). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWC Faces sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AWC Faces has 1.2K ratings behind it against 115, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of AWC Faces's written reviews are positive against 89% of PDF's.

AWC Faces ships an update every 2 months, PDF fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
