# Elfinbook vs Daily Diary

The clearest difference is rating: Daily Diary at 5.0 against Elfinbook's 4.4. Daily Diary also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Elfinbook's advantage is ratings volume (354 vs 4) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elfinbook sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Daily Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Diary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elfinbook has 354 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
