# NGC vs iCoin

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iCoin at 67% against NGC's 6%. iCoin also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). NGC's advantage is rating (2.1 vs 1.6) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCoin sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. NGC asks for nothing beyond the download.

NGC holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 78 and 54 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of NGC's written reviews are positive against 67% of iCoin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NGC ships an update every 2 months, iCoin every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
