# NGC vs NumisQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NumisQ at 100% against NGC's 6%. NumisQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.2). NGC's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 30 months) and ratings volume (58 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NumisQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NGC has 58 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 6% of NGC's written reviews are positive against 100% of NumisQ's.

NGC ships an update every 2 months, NumisQ every 30 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
