# Coursicle vs Knowt

Coursicle and Knowt both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Knowt's written reviews are positive against 38% of Coursicle's. Knowt also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 838). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coursicle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Knowt sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Coursicle against 4.7 for Knowt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 838, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of Coursicle's written reviews are positive against 62% of Knowt's.

Coursicle ships an update every 9 days, Knowt weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
