# Coursicle vs Assignd

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coursicle at every 9 days against Assignd's every 6 months. Coursicle also leads on ratings volume (810 vs 3) and chart position (#129 vs unranked). Assignd's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coursicle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Assignd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coursicle has 810 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Coursicle ships an update every 9 days, Assignd every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
