# Coursicle vs Cinch

The clearest difference is monetization model: Coursicle at free with in-app purchases against Cinch's subscription. Coursicle also leads on ratings volume (749 vs 1) and chart position (#201 vs unranked). Cinch's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coursicle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Cinch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cinch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coursicle has 749 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Coursicle ships an update every 9 days, Cinch every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
