# ReSlice vs Discord4

The clearest difference is rating: Discord4 at 4.7 against ReSlice's 4.3. ReSlice's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 14 months) and review sentiment (72% vs 61%). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReSlice costs $7.99 and Discord4 $8.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Discord4 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 29 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of ReSlice's written reviews are positive against 61% of Discord4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReSlice ships an update every 5 weeks, Discord4 every 14 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
